i actually went to a few stores around here (best buy / fry's computer store) and its laughable how much of a better deal you can get building your own... i almost got into an argument with the sales...

No bro... the LEDs/fans have one connector that receives power from the psu (just plug it in, not splice)... and one that sends it to the next led/fan... and so on... (like he said) unless the wires...

Yeah i actually already have that psu in my cart for this build.... so yeah, thanks for the input tho... you guys are all killer on advice and such and i really appreciate the help.

warrenty would be somewhat of a concern to me, cuz i plan on keeping this build for awhile... ill prolly add another hd4870 in the future when i need more gpu juice... not much more to upgrade for...

Heard that the price of the HD 4850 and 4870 is going to drop, anyone know anything about this? Possibly when? ....maybe because of a new card?

So wut do you suggest, if you read... i just was saying that i wanted to keep it under 1200... after MIR... any cases? i know of a lil cheaper ram, but thats only like 20bucks... i see wut...

Pinscher: i flinched! haha... that case is amazing! Great Build!
They put the PSU downstairs in the case! but i would flip over the side panel fan to make it an exhaust, to keep the psu exhaust...

well SHIOT!!! i forgot you need an OS! well i went to Best Buy a few days ago and they had an off brand 22" LCD on sale for $139.99... so maybe take that last 100... steal another 50 from some old...

I know what you mean... but 250GB seems big enough for me... and if i start to get close to 200 ill just get another and add it later... for 50 bucks? thats a pretty cheap upgrade... haha!

its enough to get started... plus, most people already have a hd they can add to the build... or just purchase one later when they have the extra cash... but i tried to make the most reasonable build...
