I have tried the drivers that came on the disk with the card (driver 295 or something like that I think), the driver that the nvidia webpage suggested, and then the "gaming" drivers that nvidia...

Well I have been crash free for a few days now. I have run prime95 for 24 hours with cpu at 4.0ghz and I have run occt gpu test for 8 hours. No errors of any sort. I don't know what the issue was...

I believe i have an old 9300gt floating around somewhere... It doesn't have a fan but i could rig something up. IIRC i ran it passively successfully without crazy temps so long as i didn't push it.
