I'm surprised to hear that. I have installed all operating systems with virtual box for testing without ever having an issue. I think it's a great product and it being free makes it even better.

Yes, I see that the "smart start" is now embedded in the firmware. I did use f10 to boot into the new firmware to configure the array and install the OS.

I had a virus change this setting on me once. Go to Tools>>Internet Options>>Connections>>Lan Settings. Uncheck everything and click ok. That resolved my past issue.
