Well it all depends. The #1 thing i would say to make sure you do is get a AM3 socket so u can upgrade to at least the bulldozer when it comes out next year. I was trying to give you the best bang for your buck. That motherboard is really good and there is not that many good SLI boards for AMD...

ive actually worked with tha 1055 and 1090 they are both easy to overclock to 3.8 just 1090 is easier to hit 4 with from my experience. even at 3.8 they stay really cool

i put my friends 5870 in my machine and updated my drivers again and my frames went down on a 5870 and a 5830. so does anyone know if the latest ati driver has issues with lowering frames?

ok I build my friend a computer this weekend and its odd I have a 1090t and a 5830 but i get more frames than him in games.
His new machine has a 1055t and 5870 both stock. both pcs have 4 gigs of 1600 ram
