Are buy protection options expensive? Oh I see, well how much does that usually cost? Maybe I'll think twice purchasing stuff from eBay. Otherwise if anything, I'll just convince my mom to get a PayPal account to purchase stuff from stores like Amazon, Tiger Direct, etc.

But you never know on eBay. Even if someone has a rep, you never know if something can go wrong. When you are purchasing something through PayPal, do you pay first before you get your item? The reason I'm asking this is because I've heard that you don't pay until you get the item. Not sure if...

With the PSU, I think you shoud go along with the 550W rather than the 450W. I have a few suggestions. If you have the money, switch to the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 instead of the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600. It will give you a better performance, and it's worth it: Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Quad...
