I got my wireless working today, but I'm having some problems...
my download speeds off of sites are 56k status, 2-4kbs. I load pages fast sometimes, but slow others. but when people download off of me on soulseek, it's 30-40 kbs.
what is going on? how can i fix it?
I have Yahoo DSL that use the 2Wire PC Port USB Adapter. I connect through USB to an adaptor that then connects through phone lines. Every once in a while that hardware stops working, and rarely connects, or will connect then disconnect randomly. While writing this post I've been disconneted...
Whenever I try to view things run by Apple Quicktime, I'm asked to install quicktime. I already have it installed, and when I install it through FF, nothing is changed. I can't view many things because of it. Any ideas?
no matter home many times i install quicktime, i can't see certain media. i've even installed two different versions, and it still asks me to update plugins, anyone know why? or how to fix it?

Today I ran a spyware scan, and one of the files that got deleted was HAL.DLL, which is needed to boot the computer. I have the file on a cd, and am trying to copy it onto my computer through DOS. I have the command correct, but it says access denied. How do I grant access?
