I figured I wouldn't get much support from them since its been a while since I made that purchase.
But I just sent an e-mail to them to see if they could possibly aid me.
This is a revival of an old thread back in 2009:

My rig finally started giving me grief after 2 years of great operation.

I am trying to get win7 onto an emachine t3604. That machine will not read DVD's so I can't get the system to boot by DVD.(cannot boot from cd code-5)
So I took the HDD out of the t3604, and put it in my system that does allow booting from a DVD. I installed win7 and tried putting the HDD back...
I solved it guys...................................................
Somehow the cables to my HDD and GPU became slightly undone...Fixing that and all the driver B.S. solved the problem completely
I'm back at 190-240 fps.
I tried uninstalling the drivers for my ATI card and downloaded earlier drivers. It solved the problem for minutes before going back to 15-40 fps.

I'm trying to get my electric guitar to play in to the computer through a cable instead of my headsets mic. I've got an onboard sound card, and a 3/4 cable going into my amp already. What other cables do I need?
I just meant on a graphical level... how files are presented and organized. Although I wasn't being open-minded to the programming syntax and kernel level processes. I didn't think it was necessary to mention it since OP wasn't really asking about it.
If you game, you should probably use a Windows OS. Although it is possible to game on a linux OS. You will run into lots of compatibility issues (unless there have been improvements).
If you weren't gaming it would be a crime not to use Linux
The basic structure of Linux is similar to...
when Windows cleans your disk... whats really happening?
I have a 1TB HDD and now the capacity is 931 Gigs
Does Vista take 70gigs? or is that my trashed files still taking up capacity?
