Okay I changed the ram to one you suggested and already buying $100 win7 Home Premium.
However I have trouble deciding and forking over $20 for a faster HDD. So please inform me does that really make a difference in game speed/performance?
And why would I need cable routing holes?

Well, what I can do is go to new task and run "firefox" and it goes to the internet as usual but I still cannot see any icons on the background. So, does any one know what seems to be the problem since it is not a malware, virus.
I tried everything to see what is wrong.
1. Cannot even go to "safe mode".
2. tried typing "explorer.exe" on new task but it says "cannot be located.
3. tried new task, typed regedit, clicked ok and went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current

excuse me for this question, but these softwares are known to be safe to use and boot from right? also, does magic jelly bean sofware works on linux or i need to use it with windows?
i did not format the hd where windows is installed so their is still a chance i can recover the product key if i use some kind of software/tool to find it (if i put in an external enclosure since that same hd does not start up as a master booting up with windows)
okay the last thing: what about the hd drive it self. can i not get a tool to simply find the product key in the hard drive where windows is installed? if so, it will be really helpful if someone knows a tools for doing so?

since their is a risk of having your data erased, what i am doing now is installing it on a brand new HD. However, before i do that, can you please let me know how to create two different partitions in a HD where I can use one to install Ubuntu and the other for windows xp?
