sounds like you are trying to clear someones harddrive that has a password protect that you dont' know? well just reformat with the xp cd.

you are only limited to overclocking by the quality of your motherboard, your cpu, and your cooling capabilities..

couldn't you just use the file settings and transfer wizard in All Programs>accesories>system tools> file settings and transfer wizard..?

I can agree with that one totally, unfortunetly for me, they dont' make sock 478 mobo's w/pci-x16 :-\ which is why i must upgrade to 775...hopefully soon

i guess it seems your question was answered, but yes, 184-pin DDR is the only ram supported by 478's

ddr2 is faster, and newer, unfortunetely no socket 478 motherboards support DDR2, which is why i'm going LG775 in the near future..
