I got it to work. I'm not sure what happened though. I opened the case and looked, but it was way too complicated and I didn't see any circilar battery. So then I closed it all up and went to try the F8 thing, but it just started up.
Thanks guys.
I can't give you a picture of the actual computer because thats the only computer with a slot for the card that the camera uses...
Heres a picture of what the case looks like though: TipidPC.com | Sold! HP Pavilion Media Center Mid-Tower PC Casing
You can see the handle thing on the "left side...
you mean integrated? no.
And I unscrewed the two things off the case's door, but it seems stuck. A little bit of the case near the handle will open up, but going towards the front it stays closed.
I have a 7300LE and I updated the drivers from the nVidia site just a while ago. When I was in the installation process, a note came up and said that I haven't checked if my card was compatible with XP, but it obviously is. So I restarted my computer and now it's stuck on this black screen with...
Ok, I tried it out and it works. Its much more complicated than I hoped, but its simpler than trying to figure it all out. I'm pretty sure that the ethernet port on Computer A is busted, so if thats that case, there was no going around it.
That wasn't it, but thanks.
I think I found the problem. Computer A has never been connected through ethernet, just by USB. When I plug any of my 3 (4 including the modem/router) into the ethernet port, it doesn't light up the LED on the router. So I think that maybe Computer A's ethernet port...
No, I have 3 ethernet cables excluding the one that connects the modem and router. I tried plugging both computers by ethernet, but it didn't work for computer A.
Edit: I think that maybe I should change the IP addresses. It says that in the sticky, but I don't know what to type in the browser...
I followed your instructions and now I am typing from Computer B, but now Computer A does not have any connection. I tried to plug the USB port back in but it didn't work. I also tried using a Ethernet cable, but the routers lights didn't signify that it read it. So now I have this one with...
I have spent countless hours trying to get my two computers internet access, but only one has ever been able to. I recently bought a linksys wireless router and it hasn't been able to do much since. Because I want to solve this problem, here is the best description of this setup I can give you...
