Okay,
I think that I have found the Board OF Boards
I took a look at the ASUS Site and Saw that they had a board that I had not looked at before. The Blitz Formula. So I went ahead and read some reviews, and some of the experts are saying that the aboard is an overclocking beast, ever better...
Okay I have decided that SLI is not a need and I have decided that DDR3 is most def. Too expensive.
So... the best board could possibly be the ASUS P5K Deluxe, or is there another great overclocking board out there?

Right now at 3.37GHz cpu with an FSB of 375 and a memory clock of 369 10:8 ratio. I made sure that it was not a cpu problem by turing up the FSB to 400, turing down the Memory ratio and stablizing the cpu. but as soon as I turn up the mem to 1000Mhz the system boots with no screen then I have to...
With my ASUS mobo and my g.skill ram I am able to get a clock of 938MHz for my ram but I cannont get to 1000MHz. I have seen this same mobo and mem setup get higher than 1000MHz but I cannont even reach it. I have upped the mem volts and changed the timmings.
Is there anything else that I should...
Ok what exactly is unstable?
Is it when your computer restarts by itself?
Is it when you get a blue screen error?
Is it when your computer Freezes?
Right now my computer only restarts I don't know if it is a protection thing or unstable thing.
Thanks
My cpu is oc'ed 50% running at 46 C under load Although I had crappy thermal paste. Thanks for answering my orginal question SHAWN I think that I'll just pay attention to the cpu temp not the core 1 and core 2.
