Thanks. Does anyone have any tips regarding fitting a graphics card? Is there anything I should take into account that's important as I've never fitted anything in PC before?
I have another question regarding the heat of the MSI 8600GT card. Apparently it uses 30 watts of power and as I mentioned earlier I have a 250 watt PSU. The temperature of my case seems cool now but I'm not sure what it will be like with another 30 watts added on. MSI have drivers with the card...
I'm after looking around and after coming across a low profile Galaxy 8600GT I was prepared to buy that until I found out it was difficult to have it delivered to where I live so just by chance I came across an MSI version so I'm delighted with that. Thanks for all the help anyway guys!
These are the dimensions for my PC.
Dimensions & Weight:
H: 14.2 inches (36.2 cm)
W: 3.9 inches (10.0 cm)
D: 17.1 inches (43.5 cm)
I don't think I can fit a full size card in there even with a 90 degree adaptor because I have a 250 watt power supply and a full size card would not be suitable...
Just a question, I have a Dell Inspiron 530s PC (slimline) so only a low profile GPU will fit in it. I know my choices are limited so can anyone recommend the absolute best low profile PCI express card for gaming? Any help would be appreciated.
