Hey guys, so i just built my new rig, as seen in my sig, and i only have one problem now, every time i try to install an update, i get a critical error...this is the same for Doom3, FarCry, F.E.A.R. Battlefield2 and Half Life 2, i have no idea whats going on, do you guys have any ideas? -Andrew

Hey guys, i just built my new rig, and for some reason i cant patch any of my games....i always get the same message: that theres a critical error on all of the patches....they were for Doom3, Battlefield2 and FEAR....what the hell is going on.....

yeah, so it was the 8pin power that needed to be plugged in, right by the 24 pin power...yeah we feel stupid...thanks for the help tho!

No video problem. Installed new computer compoents, went to boot machine all powers up, but i get no vidoe...is it possiable that the computer cannot read my PCIE card because of no OS loaded to harddrive? also the cd rom is not opening when i hit the open button.

yeah, i would have gone with the Extreme Music X-fi, but my buddy won the Fatal1ty card and gave it to me for 150 BRAND NEW IN BOX...so you cant go wrong there :D...for this whole build, i didnt pay MSRP for a single part...i got them all discounted...and they are all brand new :D

No matter which way i put it, the screws wont match up....ive "ghetto" rigged it thou, and its fitting fine....nothing some zip ties wont fix :-D
