Ok, havn't reinstalled the new drivers yet. This is kind of weird so mabye someone can explain this. Before I install any drivers the computer detects the AGP card and i can go to props and go from 640x480 up to this (this is amazing to me) but after a minute later i have 3 different sizes...

just got it in the mail, love it so far, no buzzing at ALL! but the catalysis control center will not load, i get a failure error when windows starts and when i double click the startup icon it gives me the same error - CLI.exe failure bs...anyone know what i should do?

I took apart a Compaq Persario, I think it was the 2050 version, something like that. Anyways, it had a Foxconn motherboard and a celeron processor (but it wasn't socketed into the mobo, isntead it was like an add-on card). Anyways, I have the PSU, CD-ROM, MOBO, and IDE cables in a box right now...

Try the bios idea, I have AC97 onboard sound and its PATHETIC. I'd recommened going to walmart and buying the cheapest PCI card you can because jesus...I've never had so many problems with onboard sound. You have to yell for people to hear you over your microphone.

I think he has PCI-Express mixed up with PCI. You probaby don't have a PCI-E port and you wouldn't want to use a PCI port because they are slower then the current card your using. Either get a better AGP card or stick with the one you have. :)
