    Mw3

I've heard numbers from $3-$10 a month. Not a lot of money but it begins to set a precedent that companies can pull BS like this and get away with it. Spread that $3 over a couple hundred thousand users a month and the company is making way more money then they deserve for a game that is just...

    Mw3

The monthly fee for "premium" content killed any hopes I had for this game. I thought MW3 would be an improvement from the last two as they are supposed to bring back dedicated servers but I was fooling my self thinking Activision actually cared about their customers. MW3 is nothing more then...

    SPDIF to 3.5mm?

I hooked up my 360 to my computer monitor, an ASUS VH242H 1080p 23.6" monitor via HDMI cable, and the picture is just fine. However, the audio comes out of the monitor speakers and it isn't so svelte. I have a set of M-Audio AV30 speakers that I like and want the audio from the 360 to go to the...

    SLI vs. Crossfire

I guess I'd choose CrossFire because ATI has the fastest GPU on the market and X2 of them would be even faster. I've always though CrossFire was ATI's version of Nvidia's SLI and vice verse. Maybe I'm wrong?

That'll be pretty cool if it works.

    USB Hub

Is it a self powered USB hub? Sometimes devices won't get enough power if the hub is USB powered. That might be the problem.

    pc prob

I can't think of anything right off the bat that would cause that but I would start by taking out the graphics card then checking the RAM.

    Triple booting?

XP, 7, and Ubuntu all use different boot loaders. And each OS installation believes theirs is the best. You can get it to work though, just sometimes it's a pain to deal with. Virtual machines are your friends.

Which Windows 7 version do I choose?

Anything above home premium is for people who need VPN and the windows xp simulator. 99% of home users just need premium. Get 64bit if you for some reason need more then 4gb of ram.

    can anyone help , pls

Installing XP and Vista side by side for me gave some very strange administrative privilege errors. Maybe Vista corrupted a temp probe and can't read it right, maybe. I fixed my problem by formatting the whole thing and installing one OS. Unless you really need XP and Vista I say choose one...

Building a New Rig a lil help needed

With a build like that it would be a travesty to get anything but DDR3. I'd also get a HDD that has a 32mb cache. It really does make a huge difference. That's a good case I hear.

    Laptops and monitor hook ups

All you would need to do is set the laptop next to said monitor, then connect them with some cable, VGA, DVI, HDMI, what ever your fancy, then right click on the desktop and depending on your OS select personalize or properties and go to the display settings and you can choose your options...

    catalyst install corrupts OS

It is possible you got a bad video card again. I had to replace a starter motor in my car, and when I replaced it I had the same problem. Turns out the "tested" motor was also bad. The chances of that happening were like 1 in a million but it did happen. Maybe you're just having more bad...

    Question about this laptop

Whenever I think of HP I think of printers, and this http://gizmodo.com/5406415/laptop-reliability-study-asus-and-toshiba-come-out-on-top I've always been an ASUS man so here's my biased opinion. It's got a dedicated video card with 1GB DDR2 VRAM to it and an HDMI port so it can handle porting...
