I am unable to launch the Windows Vista repair utility from either the DVD or the HD...I will select the option and all that shows up on teh screen is a greyed out Microsoft Corporation and the bar...which does nothing for 3-4 hours. Is it time to slave the HD and move on?
This computer actually has quite a bit of information on it that my friend wants off of it...she gave the computer to me to give to my parents and losing the information would be devastating to her. We will be waiting for the CDs to come in...hopefully that will work because absolutely nothing...
Ugh definitely do not go with Acer. Every monitor I have ever gotten from them has started flickering within a few moments. Viewsonic is what my fiance has and it is nice...but I prefer Samsung. I absolutely LOVE the Samsung! You will never go wrong with a Samsung. =)
