Do you think that custom building laptops will ever become a reality? Years ago custom building your own computer wouldn't be possible, so do you ever think that we will be able to order our own parts(cases, keyboards, lights and all other hardware) and put it together for a reasonable price?

The drives had no problem reinstalling and windows says the device is working properly. I searched google for the better part of a few hours and there seems to be no fix to this... I read through hundreds of threads across 10 or so forums and I couldn't find any fixes.

He's connected with his laptop and it works fine. The USB adaptor works perfect on the same computer, with his linux partition.(I just now found this one out)

No it shouldn't be. It's a windows problem being that he cannot access the internet, and his MAC changer(he has to use one to be able to play games at his college) sees NO connections.
