No I have no windows disk, and I was expected to make my own recovery disks but never did.

I'm about to order my motherboard, but I've been reading some websites on how to replace the motherboard and they all mention using your XP installation disk. I don't have one, my comp came with it already installed. Do I need this?

I think that'll do, I have a single stick gig, so I think all will be go fine. Now I just gotta go through the trouble of ordering and installing it. It'll be a learning experience. Thanks for the help guys, thanks a lot actually.

Well if what you say about the ram is true, then that's great news. I was worrying cause I'm on a tight budget. I searched for the model number of motherboard I have and it says Micro ATX, 9.6x9.6 inches. So I'm going to search for another micro ATX board and repost it for some more feedback...

OK I've found a few like this that might do. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157080 But my I have some new problems. Does the ATX matter? Do I need micro ATX? And my old ram is PC 2700, so does that means that won't work with this mother board?

OK well thanks very much guys, the analysis said : Prescott / LGA 775 so I guess it does have to be 775. I'm gonna fish around for a new one, in the mean time if you guys have any suggestions, please let me know. I'll be back to post my new find O_o Thanks!

I saw someone post on a thread on another site that his t5026 was a Socket 478, and others seemed to back this up, but if anyone knows differently please speak up.
