Try this, first update your computer then restart into safe mode( strike F8 during startup). Once you are in safe mode run the spyware software. It runs better in safe mode, and catches most of the spyware.
Oh and yes I did run it in safe mode but it created an error in the process. I tried doing "step by step startup", but I couldnt find the start up file.
