I installed the new HD and replaced the old one, and now my computer is very slow. Is it the power supply? Would getting a better one increase the performance of the hard drive?
I just bought a new sata 2 hard drive for my pc that's 3-4 years old. My computer only has one cord that will fit into the new hard drive and it's the sata 1. Is this the only cord that is required?
If not, will I need a new motherboard or PSU in order to install the new HD?
So I'm planning on building a PC, and want to make it as quiet as possible.
