i got a new drive and fdisked it made a new parttion then i when i wanted to format c: it told me Ivaild media type.. this is werid i have 2 other drives that have the same issue when i formated then( deleted the parttions and made them again) can any one tell me what i might did wrong. any feed...

go to the router e0/1 interface and check if its up by the command no shutdown( or if there was a gui mode u can try to find the int and check if its up ) hope this helps. can u go to the router and type show run and post it here ? we may find somthing that could be the problem

this problem may happen if u go away from the router like a few rooms away or so. So that might be the problem.

did u try reseting ur router ?

wat u can do is get the other computer ip go to run and type \\192.168.x.x\c$ <--- any ip that u are using. then A user pass will prompt type the user name and pass of that pc that will give u access. hope this helps

acculy i think u have a conflect of somekind. mabe the 2 nicks dont stack with eatch other. or even ur motherbord dont support. try dl Motherbord lastest bios drivers and nics lastes drivers.

did u share ur internet connection in the first place ? i think thats the problem ull need to share the connection to ur clients first

go to the cmd of the client and try in cmd ping 192.168.0.1. coz mabe ur dhcp is not giving the clients ip address this some times happens to me when my pc stayes like a week on or so

ok first of all did u assign ip address ? if yes. thats the problem with the intetnet connection. ull need to leave the pc that dont have the intenrt connection with "assign ip auto".
