Nothing on the screen at all....no single beep or any other beep code for that matter. I'm wondering about the psu myself...I have 650w and three 12v rails, but according to antec they are 19A....the video card docs say it needs 20A. Would that account for my symptoms?

So, I got a BFG 7800GS OC to replace my 9600 All-in-Wonder...did a by the book install (driver cleaning and such), but I get no POST with the new card. I have power (lights and fans and such), but thats it...no beep, no nothing. Previous card works find on reinstall. Just wondering what might...

Here's another vote for not even getting Vista when it debuts...I have no doubt that it will take a while before it's unkinked and updated and so forth. Syrillian nailed it...waiting for Vista means waiting a long time, not just until it comes out.

Yes...the rest just has to match the mobo (processor, video card, etc). Then the number of bays for drives and such is listed in the product description. Incedentally, most people around here will warn against a power supply included in a budget case. They tend to be exceptionally unreliable...

ATX "form factor" simply means it's the normal, regular sized case, and a normal, regular sized motherboard will fit. So would a smaller motherboard (micro ATX), but you'd normally get that size motherboard only if you wanted something to fit that smaller sized case.

I really wish you guys would stop posting pics of really sharp watercooling pics, and contributing to the other threads on that subject. I'm starting to wish I had a heat problem so I could get into it. What's a good way to make my rig overheat?

Call me crazy...and I'm not saying what *I* would do in such a situation...but does it cross your mind to let newegg know they sent you several hundred dollars worth of stuff by mistake? Again, not really preaching or anything...but I teach Ethics courses among other things, and am always...

Ditto on the hope for a big jump in graphics quality... And, this looks like just the excuse I need for a joystick purchase also. Anybody have a reason to consider a stick other than the X52?
