I am having a problem... I have a network set up through a router and 2 steam accounts. When both computers on the network try to join the same server it will not work and it will lock up whoever was on first. Any ideas? Router problem or some ports blocked? No clue here.

thermal pad will be attached to the bottom of the heatsink, not on top of the processor. Not sure how long it takes for the pad to melt, but not very long I don't believe.

New processor has arrived and I am up and running. :)

thanks. Went over it with a razor blade a couple times to make sure it's flat and even.

ya done using a palm zire 71, decent quality but not good for up close. :( I used a calling card (same as credit card) and it's very thin and no more red is showing.

Just applied arctic silver 5 to my cpu, does this application look correct?

Will report back when it arrives. At least now there will be no pad melted all over this one to clean off.

I will just buy another processor and if it doesn't work I know someone getting a new computer soon that could use it.

err, I said "until you have no artifacts" well I meant.. slowly increase it and if you see any artifacts then lower it back down a little to the last setting you didn't see any at.

slowly bump it up until you have no artifacts.

I used a Q-tip and high purity isopropyl to clean off the CPU.

Could not get a close up on the CPU, could not get good focus up close. The first couple of shots are with the arctic silver still on the heat sink and the CPU. HSF: CPU: Both the heatsink and the cpu had a bare spot or very thin area of arctic silver that isn't even with the rest...

Ok will take some pictures when I get the arctic silver cleaned off of it. Hopefully my palm's pictures are good enough quality.
