Hmm, ok...the 3 easiest ways I know of, which you guys kind of touched on:
1- Start > Run > "dxdiag" (without the quotes). Press Enter, let it run the test, then save the file and upload the .txt file here.
2- Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > "System Information". That'll tell...
I have an AMD chip with a nice Zalman fan and I get 40-43C idle and about 50-52C full load when playing games. Does the job well. I have PC Probe from ASUS and most of the time it's fairly consistent with my PhoenixBIOS temp gauge.
