I got that wireless adapter, and I noticed it didn't have a screw in it, was it supposed to? Good news-bad news: my disc drive will read CDs, I can put in any normal cd and it will read it but it won't read any DVD discs, so no games or movies. Does that help narrow down the problems for it...

Is there anyway to test that it's dead beyond what's been happening with me? Would a external disc drive be worth getting or should I just stick to an onboard one? I'm assuming on board is better. What is this second thing on my list in the first picture? and does anything need to go on these...

I thought that but I tried mulitple discs to make sure and everyone of those work on my laptop so I know it's not the discs. Should I make a video of everything and upload it here ? Should I maybe buy a DVD cleaner?...
