the operating system is xp and the HD works fine on my other comp. Is there something wrong with the motherboard? Im kind of new to comps and not sure how to do the repair.
I put togather my new comp its a soyo dragon 2 motherboard, 1 stick of 256mb PC400, Nvidia 5700U, 480 watt PS, and a P4 3.0e. My first problem is that it would start and then restart then restart again it would only be on for like 30 sec. I put more compound on the cpu and now turns on for about...
no I dont burn dual layer disks thats why I use shrink ( it reduces the size). I burn on the fly using shrink and nero 6. I can also save it to my hd then burn later. I only use single and never have used a dual layer disk. Also the only disks I have burn were copyrighted. I'm just giving what...
theres is software to get pased the guarded disk ( copyprotected). I rent dvd's and burn the ones I like so it seems you will be doing the same thing I do. You should have no problem. I use shrink and nero 6 ultra to burn my dvd's. It seems that dual layer disks will cost about $10 each when...
I 'd wait on the 8x unless you can get it for the same price of a 4x. Try to get dual format though. 12X and 16x dvd burners will be coming so I'd wait to get one of those.
I bought a areoflow 2 but, havent put built the rest of my comp to see how it works. I'll let you know or post how I liked it and list the tempature of my cpu when I get it all built.
Ok so I went to comp store (fry's) and got the Aeroflow 2. I looked for the Arctic silver 5 but, they were all out so I got a cooler master premium theraml compound kit. Is that thermal compound any good?
Thanks for the info on this. I guess I'll wait till the price of HDTV's goes down to worry about using a TV as a monitor. I quess for now I'll just watch TV on my monitor. Is there any good Tivo type software that will copy TV shows to my Comp?
Ok so I'm planning on getting a Albatron 5700U card and I see that it has a S-Video out. So does this mean I can use my TV as my monitor? If so how do I go about doing this? Also can hook up my cable to my Comp through the s-video and watch it on my monitor. Thanks for the help.
