Still unable to install Adobe reader, flash player, iTune. these are the ones i have tried. may be something to do with my internet options settings???

I am unable to install plug-ins such as Adobe reader or flash player, cant install iTunes either, get a message asking if I have enough access prevs. The OS is Windows XP 64 SP2. VI am suspecting some settings in Internet options are screwed up, but can't tell which one. Can anyone help? Thanks
