I was reformating a desktop; I deleted the hard drive and reformated but I wasn't thinking and I had my external hooked up. I accidently deleted the external and now it wont even show up on windows. Is there anyway to reformat? I cant even find it on the list for storage devices.

Yes its quite strange and I'm new to this hardware stuff. I just wasnt sure a sound card could overheat a power supply?
