If you're not going to have this done until around/near 2012 why not just wait? There will be tons more new and faster CPU's, better graphics cards, nicer motherboards, and tons more. Why not wait?

I think the iPad is an iPod that has been doubled in size then released to the public. Oh, and with the doubled size comes a doubled price so if you would like to buy a couple of ipads for a company I personally think you'd be throwing away a couple thousand dollars :).
