I know this was a long time ago but, well, it seems like between networking and software (seems like two major businesses in IT) that I need to get credentials for and knowledge of. Wherever you can direct me to start getting that knowledge, is the best way to lead me to figure out my weak points.

Thank you guys for your input's. I'm honestly just fiending to get starting more-so in the IT field. With my current job now, the only IT experience I get is installing hardware for a copier and I taught myself web-imaging programming by stealing some of the work-load from a different station.
