Ya, eventually i would like to do that

Im building a gaming PC and need suggestions for MOBO. The chipset im going with is the AMD - Black Edition Deneb Phenomâ„¢ II X4 Processor 965. Im using an Nvidia 9800Gt with 1gb of DDR3. Any good suggestions? im trying to stick to a 120 maybe 150 max budget. Any advice would be great :D

Just for reference i was able to log how hot it was getting while under load, it caught it at 86.9 degrees celsius and still rising

Well it spins while the computer is powered on lol which would be better contacting the manufacturer and getting a replacement or getting an aftermarket cooler, and if its the aftermarket idea what would you recommend

its the 1 gb edition, im thinking its overheating cause it idles at 72 degrees c and i cant change the fan settings on the card

pny geforce 9800 gt so im guessing i gotta call pny. I cant change the fan settings with riva or evga precision. It wont let me.

it only has 1 6 pin pci-e connector on it. SO what do i have to do to get a powersupply that will run this card. I would think that the most expensive power supply i could find would be enough. Does anyone have any suggestions? i cant find anything with an output rating of higher than 20 amps...

K, last night after i got frustrated i went out and dropped 200$ on a thermaltake 850 watt psu and thats whats running it right now, and same issue. this seems like a heat issue cause i can put a massive floor fan and blow it into the case with the case open and it will go longer before it does...

my mainboard is showing 28.0c cpu is showing 16c these are idle, i dont know what the temps are under load, i will test this when i get home. What temps are worrisome to see? I just noticed that in rivatuner when i click the customize under my graphics card it shows the temp at 72.6 degrees...

How can i check the temps i tried using riva tuner but have not figured out how to check out the actual card temps

ok, so a while ago i gutted my computer and upgraded my case, power supply and graphics card. I am running a blackwidow 450 watt power supply with an nvidia geforce 9800 gt graphics card in an antec 900. My PSU is a black widow 450 Watt, i think the amps are only 14 tho. That may be the problem :( it says it produces 14A at 12 volts, 28A at +5V and 30A at +3.3V how do i change the settings to allow me to use at least the Amps i need? Is that possible?
