Ive never had to use a boot disk to start up red hat, and I am quite sure you dont for any other systems. I know that red hat gives you the option of creating a boot disk after installation but I have never done it.

hang on what are you talking about, they are completly different. Windows have made an atempt at a copy on the unix kernal, thay are not the same, even in the sightest. You have heard the word 'kernal' and instantly thought that they are the same thing, easy mistake I supose :o Anyway, does...

HI guys :cool: Just partitoned me drive cause I have to keep windows on the computer cause evryone else uses it too. Anyway, what shall I put on the new partition, was thinking about mandrake 10.0, what does everyone else think? I used to run redhat 9 but never really got on with it to tell...
