well its all good, like my clocks the same and all the speeds are he same.. so i dont know if it is my bios. did u anything else to see what the prob could be? thanks for the support so far, this is really troubling me.

no all my settings are the same.. my cpu running at 2.8ghz and my fsb is running at its normal frequency, my ram is at 333mhz coz it is only ddr so yeah. how to default my bios? im noob on that :P.

hey just tried the ram thing by taking one and out trying a game, and trying this other program which laggs and it didnt make a difference. i took both rams out and switched em around so it isnt the ram unless u have another suggestion?

lol i doubt it hates its new home, only difference is is its looking at another direction :P. yeah it is possible but what i did after it wasnt working was i took everything out. ram, gpu, hdd, cpu, cd etc. then i gave it a good clean so there is no dirt in there. and no i dont have another...

well yes it did start when i moved my case, so to make sure it wasnt windows that was corrupt i formatted.. and its still slow. ill run hijackthis aswell.. what did u need from it?

yeah this is tough. ive concidered blocking air flow so ive opened my case and put a full 30 cm pedastool fan infront there and it didnt change it one bit. i seriously dont know what is wrong . *edit* i just launched WMP and IE again and my comp lagged out.. so i tried launching guitar pro 5...

yeah. well i moved the desk i had my computer on 90 degrees to lean on another wall. and now its chucked a sad and gone slow. care to provide an answer, i cant :(. Thanks, Regards Jeremy

OMG my computer is still being slow. i thought from my previous post about the ram etc that i fixed it, but its still here. this is so frustrating. my problem is my computer is going slowly after all ive done is move it 90 degrees counter clockwise. in Day Of Defeat: Source i used to get 50fps...

hey thanks. id prefer to buy things over the counter. err yeah i get the ghz myth :P, i just never quite understood dual core n how 2.2ghz is better than 3.6ghz for example :P. Err ill look into those computer stores u listed, thanks for tip. if you want you can help me out for my computer...

hey thanks, i live in perth too. hmmm atm i cant see but do you have an intel core 2 duo or an amd :P? i want to know which one is best overall, seeing as the intel core duo 2 is @2.4ghz and priced at around $500, while intel pentium 4,'s @3.0ghz are around $150. also is intel core 2 duo better...

hmm nitestick do you buy online or at a store? i was going to get an intel e6600 but i heard all bout its overheating problems? is this true? because i dont want to get a cpu that overheats on me. Thanks

hmm well i live in australia so USD means nothing to me :P. err so if i buy an e6600 which is about $500 Aussie dollars, thats a good cpu right? Remember aussie $ is alot different to USD so yeah. Thanks

Hmmmm how do i check if the CPU is conroe or not? the e6600? i would be willing AM2 but not te 4400+ because the store i go to doesnt have it, only 4200+,4600+ and the 5000+. So yeah all in all which one is best?
