I just put together a new pc and the monitor will not display anything. All of the components are on and working including all the fans. everything is plugged into the right spots and the monitor works when i plug it into my notebook.

I just built my new computer and booted it up. The Mobo works, heatsink fan and all other fans are on, dvd/cd is on, video card fan is on. no beebs no funny noises. but the monitor is not displaying anything. how do I get it to work?
