Thank you guys for your reply. It's running smooth now. I set the video card back to default. I believe I had it overclocked maybe 20 mhz. Funny that it messes it up. I can now run on ultra high settings with 1680 resolution. Ps. If anyone wants to play FSX together or show me a few things let...

Does anyone play this game with dual monitors? Does it make game play better for this particular game? I still plan on doing crossfire with my 4850 so If I do get a second monitor will I need to just disable dual monitors when I want to use crossfire on other games such as Crysis or Americas...

Do you really need to upgrade the processor? Is their a game you are unable to play? Someone mentioned DDR2 800, but what about DDR2 1066? *Nevermind 1066 is not compatible in your setup

Does anyone know of a software than can convert text into wiki format? I found an html to wiki format but I believe that will not work for me.

I would turn up the GPU fan's speed percentage. My 4850 graphics card temp dropped 20C idle temps when I set the fan percentage from 20 to 60%.

I have a 4850 running off a 650 PSU just fine. The card idles at 50 c with a stock fan not overclocking. I bought mine off newegg. If you will not overclock I would stick with the stock fan. I don't know about your other questions.

Cylon - I got home to late to try the FPS improvement tips but I did get a little bit of playing time in. I did very well once my nerves settled down. I played only insurgent camp and averaged 45-60 FPS.

Ya I unlocked the account and now I'm good to go. I still can't run AMD Overdrive but that's okay.

If you play Americas Army can you post your FPS, especially if you play insurgent camp. I have a Quad 9600 4 gig ram and 4850 video card. I usually get around 40-60 FPS. These seems low but I heard Americas Army is not very forgiving on PC's.

The catalyst came after the hotfix I believe. Sounds like I should just keep the 8.7 and not do the hotfix.

I have a 4850 video card. I downloaded the 8.7 Catalyst drivers. Does anyone know if the hotfix driver was included with that package? AMD website does not say. Should I also uninstall the catalyst drivers before doing the hotfix?
