I'm torn between building one again and buying a complete setup. My main concerns are that I wouldn't be given any financing options if I buy all the components separately (and would have to pay everything at once), as well as I would have to buy the OS separately.
I plan on using the computer...
My sony Vaio laptop has been a nightmare and I'm officially putting it away since it would cost me $800 or so to fix the F-ing backlight.
I'm going back to the world of desktops, but I'm about 8 years removed from building one. I really don't feel too comfortable buying the components...
