Ok so I returned the memory to a local store and got some patriot 1 gig sticks. Now it does show up as 400 mhz now, but the fsb is still 800 mhz.

Ugh ok. I had a memory crash or something last night playing far cry. It doesnt seem to want to run at 400. So I will see if I can return it.

Thanks, that did work. I also found if i turn the auto setting off in the bios, i can change it to 400. I'll see how that goes. Should my fsb really be at 800mhz? i thought it was 1000mhz. Please correct me if I am wrong.
