I have a DVD+/-RW and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive. I have tried them in both, and they both don't work. Also, a majority of them are DVD+R's. I just updated the firmware on my DVD+/-RW, and still no luck. So, must be something with the software?

Yes. Again, these play in DVD players, and everyone else's computer tried - just not mine.

Cause the Windows Instalation took longer to load with 4 drives in RAID 0 throgh PCI RAID, than 2 drives in RAID 0 through Motherboard RAID. That's why I was wondering.

I used Nero to back them up. Maybe I need to upgrade the firmware, or something?

I had my friend test it out in his computer to make sure they were backed up fine, and they work perfectly. The drive reads them, and often times plays parts of it. I can also view the VOB's, etc. in "My Computer"

How can I see how fast my PCI channels are?

I recently purchased two additional SATA HDD's to add to my RAID array, already consisting of two 120GB SATA HDD's. My motherboard only has two built-in SATA RAID channels, so I had to purcahse a PCI SATA RAID controller with 4 channels. Then, I got to thinking about the PCI bandwidth speed...

Can I have two of them connected to the motherboard, and another one connected to the PCI SATA Controller - can I have the RAID 0 partition span across them both? Thanks for your reply on confirming my thought on 3 drives in RAID 0.
