Thanks for the reply. I found out the solution in the meantime: There is an option in MCE 2005 where the Power DVD settings are accessible and the CLEV (if I remember correctly) feature can be activated: This stretches all videos to full size! :-)

Well, 1.8 GHz is the nominal speed - correct. But if Cool n Quiet kicks in, then it should go down to 800 MHz or so.
