I had the money.....
My plans are to use the machine as an HTPC, blueray player, dvd burner, ect. (On my 42" plasma)
at the same time I will also use it as a standard desktop on my smaller monitor on the other side of the room....
I am hoping that I will be able to operate the 2 monitors at...
So I have slowly bought everything I need....Can someone look this over and tell me where I went wrong??

Ok cool....So a 160gb would be plenty to hold the OS and applications(what exactly do u mean by applications?)
I already have all of my photos and music on a 500gb external, but would like to have them on the new computer as well.....Maybe I would get a 1.5TB so I could start saving movies...
I have thought about that a little bit....
Whats the benefit to setting it up this way.....

2-3 months ago a friend of mine basically pushed too hard on the power button and it broke....I cant get the laptop to turn on now....
I brought it to a local comp. repair shop and he said that the power button was attached to the mobo and it wouldnt be worth...

I think this tuner allows me to access the "extra" channels that I subscribe to from my cable company, such as movie channels and subscriptions like HBO onDemand....My cable company is going to provide me with a card (similar to whats in my existing DVR cable bow now)....
Is there anyway...
I want this computer to be as UP TO DATE and STRONG as possible(within reason)
It is going to serve multiple functions for me and I want it to be able to handle everything I throw at it for a good amount of time....
The total price for EVERYTHING is gonna run me around $1000 for that...
