its a sata barrucuda 160GB hard drive im planning to get, im gonna assume the IDE is a driver that has the thin wire things that you use and you have things you have to move on it like SLAVE & MASTER control...really i wouldnt be able to know if my motherboard supports SATA or IDE lol im useless...
