hey guys i took into account that this would be a basic build, but he insinuated on the quad core. Money wasent an issue so the ball is in his court. I actually haven't officially ordered the cpu/mobo but its looking like it will be similiar to the one listed above. Is it just a total waste...

Im looking to build a PC for my uncle and have a few questions. What would do you think would be the best chip to get for a basic user? Essentially this will be used for email, web surfing, photos, and general applications. I tend to go overboard on basic builds and make them into gaming...

I had the eclipse for a couple years....nice board but the letters wore off on a few keys after awhile.

I have a tuniq right now and I would recommend the true over it. Its huge, loud, and a bit of pain to install.

im running 64-bit for gaming and it runs well. Although, I think if I had to do it again I would prob go with XP 64 bit....this one has some weird issues every now and again. For the most part I am happy with it, just has a few things that need to be ironed out.

I have a slight problem with my XFX 8800gts 512 G92...the only game I noticed this problem in is WoW. I seem to get graphic glitches in certain areas and one time the entire screened turned pink...little freezes here and there any ideas?

I have a tuniq tower....its massive! Huge heatsink with the fan built into the center...works really well...just a touch louder then i would like.
