Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to jimmy rig somthing to hook a CDrom drive up to a printer port. (I have a laptop that has no internal CDrom drive support). if it is possible, please post a link or somthing to were I can get a tutorial on doing this. Thanks in advance.

I found an adapter in my basment. its only 15V instead of 20V, but it should do for now. the only thing is, I dont know that it will charge my battery.

That one wont work. I know OVER voltage will damage it, but I never knew that UNDER voltage would damage it. I was only wondering because I have enough adapters to make about 17-19 volts.

I recently purchased a laptop without a power cord, thinking they were cheap. Well I soon found out that they run about $90. I was wondering, how safe is it to jimmy rig a few other adapters to equal the voltage (actualy 18 volts rather than 20), and if the amprage has to be EXACTLY 2.5, thanks...

Maybe they should invent a mobo that is less bulky (NOT the micro ATX) uses smaller chips, doesn't feture onboard cards (we end up buying are own components anyway) and has an alternate meathod than ATI or SCCI. And how can flash memory only be used so many times? My mom has this digital camera...
