In my opinion I really think you should go with a couple XFX 5870's because I had a pair in my last rig before I upgraded to a pair of 5970s. You dont really need to wait because BF3 should run fine on those. (Ahhh, takes me back to when I played BF2 on a old ATI 9600SE)

In most cases it would becuase they are supposed to give you a like or better system, I went from my M6400 with 4GB ddr3 to the M6500 with 16GB and a 920XM, its amazing. You might score lucky.

Yeah, I would agree on hero with the card choice, I love the GTX400 series and how well it performs so go with that.
