it doesn't matter if fan is working or not... if you dont see anything on monitor ( turn off-like) then your videocard is blown OR lack of power.... yesterday i blown my fx5200 (shitty one) and 7800gs is not working because i forget about power plug ps. post your speification to make clear...

use progam like wintask or (msconfig in command) to stop background program or maybe use "who lock me" or gipro that can delete it after reboot. good luck.

what is really different between motherboard with 780i or x38? i understand 780i is nvidia gamer motherboard but can it be reliable or better than normal excellent motherboard like asus, msi or gigabyte with x38 or maybe p35? i check some tests... i see no big different... only is 780i is...

i usually play it but now its very bad ffs like serious sam muliplayers due to better improve halo pc ( well 2003)
