Well to be honest, I have no idea how to build my own. Also, wouldn't it work out to be the same price, after buying all the parts, chassis, Windows XP, etc.?

I'm looking to buy a new computer, and have been looking at all the sites (Dell, Compaq, etc.) but I'm not sure what to buy. I've always had Compaq Presarios, so I'm not too educated about the competition. Can anyone offer any advice/wisdom?

I'll try that when I get home. But both Verizon and dslreports.com told me that I had speeds of approximately 1500kbps, give or take. The one I'm using here at work is hovering around the 500 mark, so my home PC should be faster than my work computer.

Well, the QuickRestore CD automatically deletes (formats) everything on the hard drive before reinstalling Windows. It gives 3 or 4 different warning screens letting the user know that all files will be deleted.
