I don't know what the heck happened, but you just fixed my problem!!!!!! My default app was Windows Media Player, and I couldn't hear anything. So I opened Real Player, and guess what...I have sound!!! Not only do I have sound for .mp3 and .wav, but now my Windows System sounds are back...

Checked it already. Volume is up on everything, nothing is muted. Still getting perfect sound when using the USB DVD player, but still silent with everything else....?!?!
