I say lose the SCSI RAID 0 drives. If you want RAID go for SATA. As for the RAID, well If you want the ultimate in redundancy go for RAID 5.

Im not quite surw what you are saying. Are you saying it opens and closes but can't read or write anything? If that is the case your IDE cable might be in backwards (did u install it or did the manufacterer/com store). The red strip on the cable must be facing in twoards the middle of the drive.

is the IDE cable (assuming it is IDE) plugged in right? Is the red strip facing the middle of the drive? Is cord from the ps in right, red wires to the middle (red faces red with drives)
