Yes, I built it myself. I installed all the drivers and everything is installed correctly. This isn't my first PC that I've built.
Anyway, I have a dual monitor setup. I just disabled my secondary monitor and then ran the game. It was muuch better.
I just built this PC a few days ago. Specs are as follows:

Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb
Q6600 2.4 ghz quad core CPU
1 Gig ram (its supposed to be 2 gigs, but one of the sticks was DOA. But I will have 2 soon)

Yes, I do have windows already installed. I put the CD in and run the setup from my desktop, and it said the version I have is newer than the version on the disk and it wont let me do anything.
I'm trying to reinstall XP and I cant get it to boot from cd. I've done this plenty of times and never had any problems. Is there any way to do it without booting from the cd? What might be the reason for it not boting from cd? Any help is much appreciated.

I removed the old drivers I had with the 9800 pro with add/remove programs. Then I installed my new card and updated the drivers on ATI's site. Should I use driver cleaner to remove the new drivers, then reinstall?
