just had a sort of epiphany...that could be totally wrong...but what if i disable my onboard video card in BIOS? My MOBO is: (Newegg.com - Suggested Products you say that is an AMD BIOS? I'm looking through it and have no idea how to disable this.

Yes, the box, manual, all that says 5770 and I just re-opened my box and it also says 5770. I guess I should have been more specific on the device manager... ATI Radeon HD 3300 Graphics is under a tab called "Display Adapters". There is no place in the device managers that I see anything else...

resolution is 1680x1050, so it sounds like it will do well. can you link me something where i can research overclocking...i dont know much of it. for the operating system i have a copy of seven..can u suggest a cd/dvd drive, i dont know much of those either. I may just get the phenom x4...
